Education & Multi-Instrumental Mastery

He studied music education at Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education. A versatile musician, he plays
more than 16 instruments including piano, all types of guitars, percussion and drums, flute, ney, duduk,
bağlama, oud, and kanun. He is also an expert in computer-based music production. To date, more than
1,500 of his compositions have been broadcast on television in Turkey and around the world.

Highlights & Screen Credits

In the Hollywood film industry, Tuğsuz has produced trailer music for companies such as Skydance and
Paramount Pictures. His works include main themes for TV8, TRT Anadolu, LG Electronics Formula 1 promotions,
and scores for documentaries by Savaş Karakaş (Çanakkale, Muavenet, Mustafa Ertuğrul).
He has composed for feature films including Parmaklıklar Ardında İki Kadın, Karaoğlan,
Çanakkale: The End of the Road, Zebun, Zir-i Cin, Gölgeler İçinde, Sekiz,
Müh-ü Cin and Zikir; and TV series such as Bu Günün Saraylısı, Dadaş, Yasak,
Saklı and Alacakaranlık. He also scored TV shows like Alabora (Kanal D, 2014),
Döndür Şansını (ATV) and Titiz misin? (Show TV).

Over the years, he has created hundreds of jingles and advertising soundtracks still broadcast daily on many TV channels.

Labels & Collaborations

In 2012, he founded NeuAge Records LLC in the United States, releasing new age, chillout and children’s music worldwide.
He later established Ufo Music in Turkey for local releases. He has also collaborated with
Fengshui Records in the UK on joint projects featured on compilations such as
Power FM Extra Lounge Respect Series Vol. 2 and 360 Lounging 2.

Documentary Music & Innovation

Recognized as one of Turkey’s most prolific documentary composers, Tuğsuz also produced the country’s first
surround 5.1 DTS music in 2002. His acclaimed project Şehr-i İstanbul was prepared within the
2010 European Capital of Culture program and includes music for the “Legendary Istanbul” documentary covering
8,000 years of the city’s history.

Research, Book & Lullaby Projects

For his graduation thesis he explored The Healing Power of Sound Frequencies and the Effect of Polyphonic Music on Child Development.
Between 2000–2025 he continued this line of research and published the book Sleeping Frequencies.
Investigating the physical and emotional effects of sound waves, he created special lullabies using
polyphonic harmonies and carefully chosen frequency ranges to support cognitive development and help regulate delta brain waves.

These works led to pioneering projects including Ninni Perisi, Happy Babies,
Lulu Baby, Little Star Orchestra, and Lullaby Tunes.
Notably, Ninni Perisi has remained the best-selling children’s CD in Turkey since 2011.
